Hi, I’m Jason and I’m the guy who does Solar Panel Cleaning on the Mornington Peninsula…
My business is actually called The Gutter Cleaning Co. but I also do solar panel cleaning on The Mornington Peninsula…
I’m already up there, so why not??
I was going to call my business The Gutter Cleaning and Solar Panel Cleaning Co. but it doesn't quite have the same ring to it…
Anyway, don’t let the name fool you…
We definitely clean solar panels…
There’s no way dirty panels are producing as much power as they are supposed to…
Even a slight covering of dust can reduce the amount of energy your panels can produce…
But we know how to treat them…
Before we get to any of that, you need to know the cost of solar panel cleaning on The Mornington Peninsula, don’t you??
Hey, I’ve got a fantastic idea…
How about you give me a call and I can work out a price for you…
Genius!!
Here’s my number: 0466183548 and don’t forget… I’m Jason…
Uhhmmm, May I ask you a question…
Why are you still reading?
Did you not see my number??
Ohh, I get it…
You’re not quite sure if I’m the right guy for the job…
Ok, let me tell you something…
I might NOT be the right guy for the job…
The thing is, you may not even need your solar panels cleaned at all…
Before you call any solar panel cleaner on the Mornington Peninsula, check this one thing…
If you ask “The Experts” they say that your solar panels need to be cleaned every 6 months…
Or at a minimum, every 12 months…
And if you don’t clean them, their power production will plummet…
Buuut, I call B.S on this…
If you have a layer of dust on your solar panels, it may only be costing you close to $150 a year in lost energy…
And the average solar panel cleaning in Mornington will cost around $200…
So it doesn’t make any sense to pay $200 to save $150 does it?
You’ll be down $50..
You want to be sure that your solar panels are saving you money and not costing you money
But if you go on a 2 year cleaning cycle, a $200 clean will save you $300 and put $100 back in your pocket…
Does that make sense?
I recommend scheduling your solar panel clean based on the drop in the power output from your panels…
So in other words, you want to make sure your solar panels are working properly…
The easiest way to do this is to go to the manufacturer's website and login to your dashboard…
If you don’t have any login details, call them up and ask to get set up…
Once you’re set up, you should be able to see a month to month graph on how much energy your panels are producing…
If you notice that your power production is lower than it usually is, that could mean it’s time for a clean…
But if it’s been 12 months and your energy numbers are where they were the previous year, then maybe you can wait a little longer…
As long as you don’t have lichen and moss growing on your panels, a thin layer of dust may not affect their performance…
Just make sure that waiting longer than 12 months isn’t going to void any warranties…
Because bird dropping and lichen can damage the surface of your panels and affect the power they output…
And once the damage is done, it can’t be reversed…
So just be aware of that…
Because I would hate for you panels to get damaged based on waiting too long…
I have a client in Mornington who gets me back every 12 months to clean her gutters and solar panels…
Now, her gutters need cleaning every 12 months, without a doubt…
That’s really easy to see…
But her solar panels are completely different…
I only clean them every 2 years…
We base the solar panel cleaning frequency on the power generation reading…
And I suggest you do the same thing…
The reason I can confidently wait 2 years with my client is because I clean her gutters every 12 months…
Which means that every year I get to inspect the panels and make sure they’re in no danger of damage…
So unless you can inspect your solar panels, maybe you should consider getting them cleaned every 2 years just to be safe…
Or get yourself a regular gutter/solar panel cleaner who can keep an eye on them for you…
If you’re interested, I might actually know a really good guy…
He could quite possibly be the best in the business…
Plus he’s really handsome…
Anyway…
His number is 0466183548…
And his name is Jason…
You should call him…
By now you should be 100% convinced to call me… uh… I mean Jason…
So I’ll give you one last chance…
